Delivery Information & Requirements
What Do I Need To Prepare For Delivery?
At Kare Kraft Containers Inc. our goal is to make your delivery as stress free and efficient as possible. We will meet with you and discuss your delivery site options and any solutions to any possible issues.
In order to do this, we will conduct a brief survey of your delivery site to ensure there are no issues with obstructions such as:
- utility lines (power, telephone, cable)
- utility poles and support cables
- trees and branches
- buildings, structures and overhangs
- elevation/grade issues
To make sure your delivery goes smoothly, we ask of you the following:
- On the day of delivery, for safety purposes please keep children, pets and yourselves free and clear of the delivery truck and container
- Ensure the access to the road and driveway is level and navigable (i.e. our trucks are not 4x4 capable)
- Any bridge access over creek and river beds, is capable of carrying the weight of the truck and container
- Ensure the site is free from obstructions (i.e. trim tree branches back) so that the truck has clear access
- The ground is prepared properly to receive the weight of the truck (approx. 25,000 lbs.). Which means that the site must be solid enough so that the truck will not get stuck in mud or sink, otherwise this could present a safety hazard if we cannot level the truck when off-loading.
- Ensure the truck has enough space to roll off the container and drive away out of the site

The minimum distance required for this size delivery truck is 60 feet of straight runway as well as exit/turning maneuvering space.
This type of truck is a roll-back truck that will "roll off" the container in a safe and controlled manner.
The container when in it's maximum tip position will have a height of approximately 16 feet. This is why we will meet with you to discuss your delivery site to ensure there will be no issues with obstructions such as utility lines, tree branches, buildings etc.

We outsource our 40 ft container deliveries to a highly qualified professional company that has a variety of truck and trailer configurations. This type of delivery truck is also a roll-back that will "roll off" the container from the truck/trailer deck.
The minimum distance required for this size delivery truck is 100 feet of straight runway as well as exit/turning maneuvering space.
This type of delivery truck requires relatively straight access property roads/driveways as the truck deck is not able to navigate sharp or winding roads due to the length of the deck and container.
